Looking for a place to unwind and get away from it all? Welcome to our relaxing getaway! Deluxe two bedroom, two bath condominium is tucked away in beautiful Ouachita National Forest at Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa. This fully furnished unit includes WiFi, TV in the living room and both bedrooms, games and puzzles in case of rainy days, and a gorgeous view of the forest just off the deck with generous windows throughout the unit. You will find a gorgeous pool just down the hill! Be sure to check the storage closet on the deck - and feel free to borrow our pool noodles and small inflatables that are stored there.
Unique feature! This unit has a second set of steps that lead to the woods where you can walk down to the pool. Also provides easy access if you need to take your pet for a walk. Lovely deck has a hammock chair, patio furniture with cushions, BBQ grill and a rocking chair.
Fully equipped kitchen includes a full size range, huge stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, regular coffee pot, Keurig coffee maker, blender, mixer, toaster and plenty of cookware.
Master bedroom has a king bed with its own sliding glass door for deck access. Be sure to watch for the deer all throughout the day! En Suite bath has a jacuzzi tub and shower.
Guest bedroom has a queen bed, and a full size bed with a trundle bed underneath! Guest bedroom also has a door that separates it and the guest bathroom from the other part of the unit for privacy.
This unit's location provides you with a short walk to the Spa and Harbor East pool, which is located just down the hill. Nearby you will also find tennis courts, a remote lake swim beach called Sunset beach which is a great place for an evening picnic! A short drive will take you to another tennis court that also has a basketball goal, a playground, several trailheads that offer great hikes of our National Forest, the Riding Stables, and a wonderful Military Museum that offers pre-scheduled tours at no charge.
We do want to mention that this condo ( and most of the others) does not have boat parking. There is an overflow parking area up the hill, but it does not have power. Mountian Harbor does rent overnight slips that you can keep your boat in.
You have 1 parking spot, clearly marked with your unit number on it- 21BPC. If you have a large size truck, please note that the parking lot isnโt very big.
At the Marina, you can rent a party barge and skis, tubes, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards. Be sure to call in advance, because they book up quick! Dreamchasers houseboat rental also rents jet ski's, but again, be sure to call in advance. The marina is also home to two terrific fishing guides : Chris Darby and Mike Worm.
Don't feel like cooking? The Marina is also the location of the World's ONLY floating Subway! It is opened seasonally starting in May and going through Labor Day. Also on property is the amazing Lodge Restaurant. It's open Feb-Nov ( call 870-867-2191 and check hours) and offers lake-side dining, to-go pick up, and delivery right to your door! The Lodge also has a newly renovated native rock courtyard that has a wading /kiddie pool, wood-burning fire pit with dinning area, and a gas fireplace that provides a romantic opportunity for couples to dine at. On the other side of the lodge is a full size pool overlooking beautiful Lake Ouachita.
