2 Bedroom Place in Fancy Farm
Sitting on a 24 acre previously Amish owned Farm, in the heart of West Kentucky. Come and experience the peace and quiet of country living in this 2 bed 1 bath shophouse. Fully equipped kitchen including farm fresh eggs when available! We're located 15 minutes outside of Mayfield, KY in an Amish Community. Unplug and relax from the busyness of life. Sit on the porch overlooking the pond and cow/horse pasture. At night sit around the fire pit and gaze at the stars! Master bedroom with queen size bed. Additional bedroom with full size bed. Full size bathroom. Porch with seating overlooking the pond and farm. Fire pit access also available.
No fishing allowed in the pond. It does make for a beautiful view though!
We do farm and operate on the property. People may be present at times but will not interfere with your stay.
Although we do have the house professionally treated for pests, this is still located in the country. If the sight of an occasional insect or the rare appearance of Mickey or Minnie would upset you, this might not be for you :) Critters roam freely in the outdoors.
This is a farm surrounded by other farms. It is peaceful and tranquil for the most part, but you are likely to hear the sounds of the occasional horse and buggy, farm equipment and farm animals.
We have many farm animals and pets on site including horses, cows, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. They are kept in fenced areas but, escape and roam on occasion. Guests are welcome to pet horses if they approach the fence but are asked not to attempt to feed any of the animals.
