Positive: The host met us on arrival to show us around this attractive property. The kitchen was very well kitted out and the decor everywhere was good. It is a beautifully maintained property surrounded by gardens. The garden seating/loungers caught the morning sun whilst the summer house caught the afternoon and late evening sun - couldn't have been better. There is plenty of space for children to play too. It is well situated for visiting the D-Day Beaches etc. as well as the wider Normandy area. The motorway is close by for easy access.
Negative: The property is situated just off a busy road so traffic noise can be heard when sitting in the garden. However the Gite is well insulated and therefore there was no problem from traffic noise inside the property.
Summary: A lovely Gite, everything we needed was there and the host was available if required.
