Palmer is just 45-60 minutes northeast of Anchorage, and is a an ideal basecamp for all kinds of attractions throughout south central Alaska. While adventure & activities (like Hatcher Pass, the Reindeer Farm, Musk Ox Farm, Glacier Tours, and more!) are practically right in our backyard, we are also a greatgo-between for stays ranging north to Talkeetna &Denali National Park, northeast to the Matanuska Glacier & out to the Al-Can Highway, and, of course, south to the fishing & outdoor mecca that is Alaska's Kenai Peninsula.
