Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The location is close to family, resources and entertainment. The facility is as described with a few issues that were problematic. The host Chris was responsive and I believe did his best to rectify the problems.

Negative: The hot water heater was not functional and I was unable to shower the first three days. I had to heat water on the stove to wash which was more than inconvenient. Apparently this was not the first problem with the heater and should have been properly checked prior to renting. A maintenance gentleman ( nice guy) fixed the tankless water heater in time for me to leave. There was a couple house keeping issues as well. There was no toaster and the single frying pan was crusted with burnt food. Chris did drop off a new toaster which was greatly appreciated. I spent some time carefully scraping and scrubbing the pan and was able to use it. Chris told me that he would reimburse at least a days stay for the inconvenience and I hope to see that on the billing adjustment.

Summary: Comfortable and very nice property, but the hot water heater issues dampened the 1000 mile trip to .
