At Élan Vital, you will enjoy spectacular views from every angle of the 2nd floor living space. The sandy shore is a short walk across a private bridge. Refresh and reflect as you walk along one of the most secluded beaches on the Washington coast.

Summary: The kitchen was the most well-equipped kitchen we’ve ever experienced in our travels. Sitting on the deck in the evenings was a joy. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious with plenty of storage. The owner was very responsive and kept us updated on a repair issue she was dealing with. It didn’t impact our stay. We really enjoyed walking the trail to the beach. We’re in our 70’s and had no problem getting there but some who have limited mobility may find it challenging. The only downside was the laundry soap and dryer sheets used for linens. They were heavily perfumed, making the bedding stink of perfumes. It caused allergy problems. We all brought a pillow but our pillowcases still smelled of perfume after washing them when we got home. We highly recommend the owner use unscented laundry soap and wool dryer balls instead of perfumed dryer sheets. Perfumed dryer sheets are a known asthma trigger in children. If it weren’t for that, we would have given our stay 5 stars. Everything else was great.
