Gorgeous new home completed in December 2013 located in the desirable community of WaterMark in North Bethany Beach, Delaware, voted Delaware's Top Community of 2014. Property offers direct access to a protected waterway, optimal for kayaking, canoeing and fishing. The home has professionally designed interiors with premium upgrades.
The main level features a formal entryway showcasing a dramatic double staircase w/landing. A Great Room features a beamed ceiling, large screen HDTV, and generous family seating. Modern French doors allow easy access from the Great Room to the spacious front porch. The Gourmet kitchen boasts granite countertops, tile backsplash, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, state of the art cookware and a large center island with dual sinks. The dining room is well appointed and opens onto a back deck which offers a gas grill, outdoor seating and stairs that access the spacious rear yard. A free-flowing floor Plan encompasses the great room, kitchen and dining area. A large primary bedroom on the main level includes a king bed, HDTV, and an Ensuite tiled bathroom with a soaking tub, dual sinks, large walk-in shower and a private WC.
On the upper level a loft provides seating, entertainment center and French doors that open to a veranda with sweeping west views, perfect for morning coffee. There are four bedrooms located on this floor, including a second primary with a king bed and relaxing seating area adjacent to another full bath. Two other bedrooms share a Jack & Jill; one bedroom accommodates two twin beds, the other three. The remaining bedroom is well appointed with a queen sized bed. A stacked washer & dryer are located on the third level.

Summary: Just returned from a 6 night stay at this Bethany Beach home. Firstly, the home itself and the gated community were beautiful. We always felt safe and comfortable. The house is as advertised. Nice balance of aesthetics and function. Close enough to downtown Bethany, the beach & food options but far enough away too. The only drawback was the proximity to Hwy 1 for noise. We unfortunately stayed during Bike Week in Ocean City without knowing and the constant stream of motorcycles was not pleasant. Not by any means the fault of the property or owner, just something to be aware of. Because we stayed after peak season the community was often sparsely occupied giving us a near private pool experience. We walked our 1 year old in the stroller around several times a day. All in all, our family very much enjoyed our stay.and would go back.
