The Victorian on Grand will knock your socks off with its location and unique design. Built in 1890 this home has all the modern features of today with the character of 1800's! The Grand Vic offers guests three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, custom built kitchen, an awesome outdoor space and it's walkable to coffee, shopping & dining! This property is a one of a kind gem located in the heart of Kansas City; 6 mins from downtown, Westport and Plaza this property is in the middle of it all.
Host will not be on site during the stay but is a phone call, text or email away!
Union Hill is a historic neighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri. The neighborhood is located between 27th Street and 31st Street and Main Street to Gillham Road. The neighborhood features many up and coming restaurants, bars and shops! Walk to Martini Corner, Cliff's Taphouse, Made in KC, The Black Pantry and many more places! The neighborhood is beautiful for enjoying a stroll and gazing on all the beautiful homes that have so much character!
Guests will have access to the entire home and deck behind the home. Instructions for gaining access will be sent the day of check in.
Entering the Grand Victorian will take you on a walk back in time! You are immediately met with history and character in this charming home!
The first floor features the living room that offers a sofa and two chairs, a fireplace and large TV. (Fire place is for decorative purposes only)
The dining room is right off the living room and offers a large table in order to seat eight. Enjoy a meal, drinks and games or your morning breakfast as a group!
Off the dining room is the private office. French stained glass doors can be left open or closed if privacy is needed in order to get some work done! A desk, chair and charging station is provided so all you need to do is set up your lap top and start your work day.
A half bath is right off the dining room and office for convenience. This half bath is such a charmer, original wallpaper and light fixtures were left in place to show off the amazing character of Victorian style.
The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to prepare meals! All dinnerware, cookware and glassware is provided. This kitchen has custom cabinets with a fridge and dishwasher built in. A full coffee bar including a Keurig, drip coffee maker, French press and pour over are provided so you can brew your cup of joe just the way you like it. K-cups are provided along with creamer and sugar. A small bistro table for two is in the kitchen.
Located on the second floor are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom offers two comfortable queen size beds, a smart TV, and walk-in closet. This bathroom has a shower only. The other two bedrooms both offer queen beds, TV's, dressers for additional storage and plenty of closet space. One bedroom has access to a small outdoor deck space with a table for two to enjoy that coffee or wine and the outdoors.
The other full bathroom features a bathtub. Luxury Tommy Bahama bath products are provided including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. One large bath towel and one wash is provided per guest along with dark make-up towels for convenience.
The home does have a back deck right off the kitchen with outdoor furniture and beautiful lighting to enjoy company and the outdoors. Full-size washer and dryer are available and located in the basement of the home.
* Parking - There is no private parking for this home. There is free street parking on both sides of the street.

(Guests are required to pick up after their pet host provides dog bag stations). This home does not have a yard for dogs however the neighborhood is perfect for walking! There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.
