Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The property was spacious and comfortable and was well laid out with good amenities. The kitchen had lots of equipment. The location was fine, walking distance to supermarkets and a few restaurants and the apartment was quiet enough as on 27th floor. Bed was comfy. The internet wasn’t working when we got there but the owner was quick to resolve it. The owners were communicative and responsive. It was great to have a washing machine and an airer.
Negative: The kitchen was a bit dirty when we arrived. A few little extras could have made this place excellent, some condiments (salt, pepper and a little oil), especially if you’re only staying a short time. There was only toilet roll and soap in one of the bathrooms. Some water on arrival would have been nice too. Also, as no one was there to meet us, it would have been useful to have a few instructions on using things like the wifi code, the washing machine & hot water switch. We discovered you had to turn a switch on to get hot water after having a cold shower, and the switch wasn’t in an obvious place. We weren’t comfortable with the situation that a total stranger came knocking at the door asking for cash payment.
Summary: Well laid out apartment in a good spot in the city.
