The property is an independent house in a land of 2000 sqm next to the sea which creates a perfect environment away from distractions. Around the garden there is a hammock, which is ideal for those all important summer afternoon siestas! Or perhaps just to escape for an hour or two with a good book.

St John was exiled here and lived in a cave where he reputedly wrote the last book of the New Testament, the Book of Revelations, known as the Apocalypse.

From Grikos you can also go hiking to the most beautiful beach of Patmos, 'Psili Ammos', which is only accesible by foot.
