Hale He'e' Nalu (Surf House) is our Hawaiian suite located on the tropical grounds of the 880-acre Turtle Bay Resort complex along the epic North Shore coastline with its world-famous pristine beaches and surf. Tastefully decorated and renovated, our unique cute private Hawaiian-style condo suite is where you will feel right at home – living like locals do – on the laidback surf-inspired O'ahu North Shore, far away from the busy city life (and not like staying at a packed touristy hotel). Blending in with the local neighborhood’s full-time residents and cultural attractions, Hale He'e' Nalu is a attractive place that is furnished in the traditional Hawaiian Island style. Cleanliness is very important, so we hire an excellent professional Hawaiian housecleaning company who thoroughly cleans and carefully prepares our condo before you arrive. Especially due to coronavirus, these expert cleaners pay special attention to anything guests can touch, so guests can enjoy their stay without having to think about the potential threat of the virus in the condo.
Our spacious split level country-side condo home is a much-preferred upper CORNER unit with extra windows! It is desirably located in the rural "Gold Coast" of Kuilima that looks out over the gorgeous 1st fairway of Turtle Bay's signature Fazio golf course next to the ocean. Desirable location due to the beautiful sunset views, cool trade winds, and renowned golf course frontage. Close to mouthwatering Lei Lei's Bar & Grill restaurant and pristine North Shore beaches and tropical trials. Onsite there are also three swimming pools, tennis courts, barbecue grills, pool deck with chairs and tables, manicured grounds, green tropical walking paths and gated secure parking.
Another special feature of our unique condo is that it is most conveniently located next to the swimming pool and BBQ area with nice views. So convenient for family fun and swimming!

It is best suited for "self-sufficient" guests seeking a fantastic location for an affordable price compared to the very expensive hotels. The condo space is very relaxing and convenient with FREE parking and no resort fee! The open floor plan living and kitchen area provides alternative space and seating for relaxing or fun with friends and family. Through years, the owners have constantly maintained, improved, and upgraded this cute cozy private Hawaiian-style gem. Notice our condo is very stylish and tastefully decorated, and we've recently made some new renovations that will be photographed soon (thus some photos in the listing are being retaken and will be uploaded as soon as they're ready). And notice it isn't like a high-end luxury hotel, so please don't come with high luxury expectations or ask for daily maid-like services. The place is spacious (especially compared to a room at the hotel). Like a local Hawaiian family home, our place is modest, relaxing, fun, and cozy. It is truly unique, charming, safe, quiet, and close to everything you wish to see on the Oahu's amazing tropical country-style North Shore.
Our special place features 2 bedrooms (see details below), 2 bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen that has new stainless-steel appliances (new stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, electric kettle, coffee maker, etc.), dishwasher, all the kitchen items you need to feel right at home, laundry washer and dryer inside the unit.
You can enjoy two gorgeous world-class PGA champion golf courses, horseback riding along the beach or trails, pony rides, miles of beautiful hiking trails, amazing ocean-side biking/walking trails, pristine white sand beaches, fabulous dining, and live entertainment. Fun for families, kids, friends, business guests, and memories!
Walk to the beach where you'll find a new restaurant/bar, cabanas, sailboat/surfboard rentals, restrooms and great snorkeling. Or head to the upscale resort's pool bar for a Mai Tai, morning surf contest, turtle watching or sunset hula show!
The Hale He'e Nalu condo is overlooking the beautiful green Fazio Golf Course with complete privacy. Its location, the best at Turtle Bay, is a light and bright end-unit with extra windows and breezes. Turtle Bay's Club House offers high-performance golf club rentals and more! Two legends of golf - Arnold Palmer & George Fazio - have boldly chosen to leave their indelible mark on this untouched coast.
This suite is set up usually for 4 guests including one new extra-large Cal King size bed (with a new cool comfy mattress!) and two twin beds, and there is a also new sofa with a pull-out bed if you wish to squeeze in one or two more people. Six (6) guests maximum. Only *registered* guests can stay in the unit and access the amenities. The number of guests will be verified, so be sure your reservation includes the correct number of guests. Violation of this could result in full or mid stay cancellation without a refund.
The condo space is a second floor unit with loft bedroom suite upstairs (see photos). The lanai/balcony, living room, main bedroom, full kitchen are on the main floor. The loft bedroom and second private little bathroom are in a cute upstairs loft (especially fun for kids) above the main floor. The Upstairs bathroom has a low ceiling on one side. Bedrooms and living room have new wood-style flooring. Kitchen and bathroom have clean tile flooring. The big King size bed is in the main bedroom, and two twin beds in the upstairs loft bedroom that has a small bathroom too.
Free Fast Wireless Internet, Smart TV with Netflix app, etc, Cable TV Services with Premium and HD channels, DVD Player with DVDs, Pack-N-Play playpen crib (if requested in advance), beach gear, and pool toys are provided. This unit has been a cherished family vacation home and rental for years, and it has been taken care of very well, with lots of love, and we continue to keep it well-maintained and cared for with your kind caring cooperation. There are two Smart TVs, clean linens, a hair dryer, an ironing board, an iron, and a foldable pack-n-play for babies.
The upstairs is our super cute "surfer suite" loft with a unique North Shore (surfing-decorated) bedroom and a bathroom with low ceiling (like in a wave lol), a sink with vanity, and a full shower! Hence it is ideal for a Hawaiian surfer shack experience. My kids love staying and sleeping up in the surfer suite loft – away from us parents lol – in their own little space (yet still not far from us down below).
Three air conditioning units (one in the living/dining room, one in the main bedroom, and one up in the loft bedroom), as well as three new ceiling fans (one in each of the two bedrooms and one in the living room) to help you stay cool. And lots of cool natural Hawaiian breezes will blow through the whole condo if you open the doors and windows. We love (and prefer) to have these natural cool Hawaiian trade-wind breezes blow through the whole condo when leaving the doors and windows open. Just make sure the screens are closed too, because Hawai'i has countless tropical insects (especially in the evenings).
REMODELING & UPGRADES: Recently we have done a lot of remodeling and upgrades to keep the place comfortable and enjoyable. Our theme continues to be the traditional Hawaiian North Shore surfer style, hence we named the condo Hale He'e' Nalu (Surf House) many years ago. Many families and friends stay at our place, so we keep it well stocked and furnished for families in a fun elegantly cute style.

Turtle Bay and the North Shore are perfect for exploration – including amazing snorkeling spots, pristine beaches, tropical walking paths, hiking, kayaking, ziplining, waterfalls, luau, sea turtles, shave ice, paddle boarding, yummy local shrimp trucks, epic surf breaks, renowned Polynesian Cultural Center, and famous Haleiwa surfer town turned hip with local shops, restaurants and so much more! Our unit is inside Kuilima Estates West – located next to the awe inspiring "Seven Mile Miracle" of famous Oahu North Shore waves, including Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline, Rocky Point, Pupukea, Keiki Beach, Waimea Bay, Haleiwa, and many more!
Kahuku Superlette is 5 minutes drive away and there are very popular local food trucks and famous garlic shrimp! Foodland supermarket is about 10 minutes drive and is good place to get groceries, beach gear, beginner snorkel gear, and more.
Steps to the pool, BBQ area, tennis courts, golf courses, beaches, restaurants, bicycle trials, tropical jogging/walking trails, and much more. Famous surfing breaks (Pipeline, Sunset, etc), are only minutes away. The Polynesian Cultural Center (with the best luau in the world!) is just a short drive from our condo.
