Positive: -- Room was very big compared to Taipei. Soundproof enough. Clean. -- Branded toiletries - Cha Tzu Tang, including body lotion (but from 1 Jan 2025, no more disposable items like toothbrush, toothpaste will be given). -- Staying for 2 nights, had Taiwanese Chinese breakfast (porridge with accompaniments) 1 day and Taiwanese Western breakfast (triple decker sandwich) on 2nd day. At least there's variety. Breakfast comes in a tray delivered to your room, 5 to 10 mins before your decided time. -- Free parking for guests. -- Supermarket around the corner on the left. Bubble tea shop and Louisa Coffee around the corner on the right.
Negative: -- Flat cardboard slippers that keep slipping out. Not the fluffy type. -- No pyjamas or bathrobes. -- The handheld shower is so low at waist level instead of above head level. Either that or get all your hair wet under the rain shower. No in-between. -- Good only if you have a car to travel around Miaoli county. It is not near the HSR station.
