Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Beautiful setting, secluded in the wilderness. Really well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was a great addition. Log burner in living room was really good, felt very cosy with the fire going. Decent size and layout. Bedding and towels were fresh and comfortable. We had a really great night there and would definitely stay again!

Negative: Felt like the whole place needs a bit of refreshing. Smelt like dog on arrival and just generally didnt feel the cleanest place. Table and dining area felt sticky. Hot tub lid bolts are rusting. LED lighting in bedroom / bathroom didnt really work properly (couldnt cycle settings with remote) Torch at entrance to path didnt work. Heart bunting left up around property gave the vibe of being left from previous guests. Lost all power and water in the morning for half an hour (was fairly promptly rectified by owners) Bathroom door doesnt close properly. All very small things, but its the small things that are just enough to stop this place getting full marks for everything
