Positive: The host was ever so present, always a phone call away, giving us regular updates, her service was exceptional. 1st night was at their sister apartment, 5mins away. It was clean, warm and welcoming. I thought the Lindt chocolate as a welcome was a nice gesture, the coffee and tea were pleasant. The unit itself was according to my standards, clean with white quality sheets, bathroom and kitchen was also clean. The unit is well designed with stylish furniture and finishing touches. The 2nd unit was everything and more of what I booked and expected, the pics do not do justice to it, it's BIG and spacious, a stunning villa with exquisite interiors. The handwritten welcome note and wine was a pleasant gesture and a warm welcome. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary utensils and equipment required for a 5 day stay. It came ready with sugar, milk and good quality coffee. I did not expect to find a fully equipped scullery/laundromat in the apartment, which helped because I managed to do all my holiday dirty laundry before leaving, they also provided the detergent, a plus for me. All the rooms were clean and fresh, with their stylish furniture, beds comfortable. Wi-fi connection was reliable and fast. Check-in and check-out was fast and efficient, we were given access keys and spares. I loved the mirrors all around the house, the lounge mirror was a winner for my family, memories were created there :-) The apartment was central, with easy access to shops and most tourist attraction areas, 5-10mins away from the VA Waterfront, the table mountain view was spectacular, especially at night, breathtaking! The location is safe, you can walk even in the evening after 10pm, there were guards patrolling every street, more visible at night. I am definetely booking here again!
Negative: 1st Unit - The bedroom shower head was faulty, which was not a problem because we stayed only one night, the smell of fresh paint made it difficult to breathe, worst at night. The oven was dirty, we could not use it. I was a bit uncomfortable and unsettled about the neighbourhood, it was noisy and with dodgy characters lingering around, the apartments are more of a student village than a holiday home. But, once inside you forget about the outside factors, the unit is beautiful. 2nd Unit - Add extra toilet roll, especially for long stays and give us an option for a housekeeper. The 2nd bedroom's mattress is about to give in, have a look at it. Either than that, I cannot fault anything really!
