This is a large private room upstairs loft, decorating in 70's style. Bathroom and kitchen are downstairs and shared with other listings. This makes a very unique private getaway, or just a place for traveling through the area. Located on a private property, on 2.5 acres of wooded land with a natural spring and small walking trail along the creek. 3 miles from interstate 40 exit 144, quite surroundings. Fire pit, BBQ. Close to, hiking, fishing, kayaking, Lake Norman only 90 min from blue ridge mountains. Great for a private retreat or just a cool place to stay the night.

Summary: The hosts were fabulous, very warm and inviting. I wanted to stay somewhere other than in the hotel setting. This was perfect. It was so Peaceful. They have turned their property into the perfect little getaway for relaxation. A break from the daily busy life. If you are looking to get away and just reset and recharge, this is a great location. We planned on going to Emerald Hollow Mine but didn't want to stay in a hotel, it was a pleasant drive. So glad we found this property rental. We will be visiting again!
