Jimmie Davis, the famous singer and songwriter and former governor of Louisiana in the 1940's and 1960's got married in this house. While the original features of the house were preserved, we brought in a touch of modern style with upgrades such as superior quality bedding with memory foam mattress and pillows, spa quality toiletries, high speed internet, a 65 inch smart TV in the living room, a 55 inch smart TV in the guest bedroom, a 50 in smart TV in the master bedroom, Amazon Alexa, Keurig coffee maker.
