Our stone house boasts a unique blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. Guests can relax in the comfortable living room, which features a cozy fireplace and plenty of seating for movie nights. The fully equipped kitchen, with essential pantry items, is perfect for preparing meals with fresh ingredients from the nearby neighborhood farms and markets. Neighborhood farms (Davenport, Damn Good Honey, Saunderskill and Kelders), food co-ops in High Falls, Emmanuels in Stone Ridge, and the Accord Market have inspiring ingredients for you to shop and plan your meals.
Start your day with antiquing in Kingston and New Paltz or hikes in nearby Minnewaska (New York’s most loved state park), the O&W Rail Trail and the Trestle at Rosendale. Catch a race at the Accord Speedway.
Wind down at Arrowood Brewery for outdoor dining or go to Westwind Orchard for ciders and pizza, both 5 minutes from the house.
By nightfall, get a fire going in the outdoor fire pit, relax on the Adirondack chairs while making s’mores and enjoying the starry night sky. Upstairs, guests can retreat to one of our three comfortable bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom features a luxurious king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom has bunk beds that are perfect for children. The third bedroom has a large queen-sized bed. There is also a comfortable full sized pull out bed in the living room sofa.
2 hours from NYC, this makes a perfect home for remote working. The Stone Home is accessed through the front door facing the front pasture. (There is an attached 19th century cottage that is listed separately. Both spaces have their own outdoor areas.)

The Krom Stone house is significant as an outstanding regional example of a mid­ eighteenth-century stone dwelling architecture. This vernacular house is historically and architecturally significant as an example of the linear stone dwelling house architecture typically found in the Hudson Valley region and in Ulster County, New York. The linear one and one-half story stone house was the predominant form of stone dwelling architecture in Ulster County, and in the Town of Rochester from the late seventeenth century until the mid nineteenth century.
This house is one of just fifty-six stone homes remaining that were built before 1850 in the Town of Rochester. This house is also significant as one of eleven one-and-one-half story houses to have at least one all-stone gable end.
