Positive: Spacious both inside and outside, with good possibilities to eat, hang out and be outside with the kids! Location was perfect for us since we attended a wedding party close by.
Negative: The company DanCenter which rents this property through booking.com has horrible customer service. We had ordered sheets for the house, with no other information than that we would pick up the key at the house. Upon arrival to the house at 16.00 we realize there are no sheets. Try to call DanCenter - they close at 16.00 and there is no support function. It’s laughable really, I try the option “there was no key at our pickup”, still their automatic response is “please send us and we will get back to you as soon as possible”. So we email them, and no one calls, we end up going to buy new sheets which we know we can’t bring back with us. Mind you this is a two night stay, so we are wasting precious time since we have to go to another town for this. The next day arrives - no one calls. After the second night we have checked out, they email me back. No “sorry there were no sheets, sorry you had to buy”, just “Normally you pick up the sheets at our office” I ask At what point we were supposed to have been informed of this, no actual response just “we can’t refund you for what you have bought”. In between the owner of the house and booking.com - I can’t see the function of DanCenter when they offer literally no support during our actual stay. It was impossible to get to speak to anything but an automatic phone loop telling us to email them. If we had been missing a key we would’ve been left without a house for our complete stay. Cleaning could’ve been better, and when it was our turn to clean I understood why - cleaning equipment was not complete, for example no rags available etc.
