At the Zampata, you will experience a leap in time, a unique atmosphere, a breathtaking view. To be avoided if you can't stand the sound of bells, a little dust (the beams must be about 600 years old), draughts and the discomfort of heating with wood. In the bedroom and the bathroom, there is an electric heater. The bells ring between 7am and 10pm. Beware, the stairs are very steep, the chimney at the top is out of order.
The accommodation The whole house is at the disposal of travelers. If you want to come with children under 12 years old, please ask us. On the ground floor you will find the kitchen (with in principle a kitchen stock: salt, sugar, pepper, vinegar and oil) and equipment (glass kettle, Italian coffee maker, blender stick, toster, knife sharpener, pots and pans and dishes), a small electric stove with a small oven, a small fridge, a wood stove and a beautiful working fireplace. Wood forthe first fire is provided. Afterwards, you will find some in the cellar for CHF 9.00 per large basket. Attention, the small logs are for the wood stove, the big ones for the fire. On the second floor, there is a room with two single beds (washable heating blankets or hot water bottles are available). This south-facing room is equipped with an electric heater. A small wardrobe and a table complete the room. The bathroom with shower/tub is also on this floor (small foehn, small first aid kit). A boiler heats the water during the night (it is therefore recommended to wash the dishes with a basin). The bathroom is equipped with a washing machine. It is not normally available to travelers, except by special request. On the top floor there is a large room with two single beds and a balcony (with hammock). The fireplace on this floor is out of order. There is a large fire extinguisher and a fire blanket on the ground floor and a small fire extinguisher on the top floor.
