This private basement apartment has its own entrance and is in a quiet neighborhood. Metro station is only 5 miles and Washington DC is about 20 miles away. It is convenient to many major malls, stores, highways, and many tourist attractions. Major universities and hospitals are just a short drive away.

*IMPORTANT NOTE - At present, this apartment is only available to guests who have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19. Every member of the guest party should have had all the required doses of the vaccine. We do ask that you share the proof of vaccination upon arrival.
This is a fully furnished walk-out basement with its own entrance. The entire apartment is your own, personal space. It is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of public transportation (bus) and local amenities. Guests will have access to about 1500 sq. ft space with full-size windows and a wooded backyard.
A beautiful kitchen will meet your basic cooking needs, with a two-burner stovetop, microwave, full refrigerator, utensils, dishes, pots & pans, electric kettle, toaster oven, and coffee maker. Kitchen island with 3 chairs and a table that can seat four people.
The bathroom has a tub, extra towels, and limited toiletries. A closet with a washer and a dryer. There is plenty of storage space for luggage.
The living room has a comfortable sofa, a love seat, a chair, and an ottoman. A 65" large smart TV/cable box and Roku streaming device. WiFi is also available in the apartment. Our place can accommodate up to 5 people.
The first bedroom with King and the second bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a twin mattress if needed and extra bedding for each bed.
Private parking on the driveway is available.
**Please note that this is a BASEMENT APARTMENT where the home's utility closet is also housed. You might hear some noise from the heat or A/C units starting/stopping. Even though we are a quiet family, you might hear some noise from upstairs.
Heat and A/C can only be controlled by a thermostat upstairs. Feel free to contact us to adjust the temperature to your liking (This has not been an issue for previous tenants).

Summary: The owner was very kind in the check-in process, so we all felt very welcomed. Although it was the basement in the house, it felt like a separate unit. Very clean and well maintained. It was not a full kitchen, but served nicely for our purpose (mostly breakfast). Overall experience exceeded our expectation. Very satisfied.
