This is an affordable, pet friendly, sweet home on a half acre with old growth trees. The porch was made for coffee in the mornings and sweet tea in the evenings.
*The home is equipped with two queen beds and a dedicated workspace. The home has a single bath with a fully equipped kitchen, covered carport, office, washer, dryer, reliable Wi-Fi and a covered porch in both the front and back yard.
*While the home is not equipped with outlet covers, cribs, pack n play or toys and books for children we are happy to deliver such amenities upon request.
*The location is rural yet central to easily access Hudson or Lufkin.
*We really focused on creating an affordable, pet friendly option. We welcome traveling nurses and long term stays. The home is accommodating yet affordable. So while you will find a very clean and comfortable space, you also will find basic furnishings and fixtures. The kitchen and bathroom have Formica countertops. The living room, kitchen and bathroom have new linoleum flooring.
*You’ll find a few coffee and tea options in the kitchen.
*Guests will have access to the entire home and yard. The yard is undergoing a bit of rehabilitation. New pet friendly fencing and gardens are still to come.
*We respect your privacy. While we will respond immediately with any special requests, we tend to allow guests to check in of their own accord. Bookings lasting longer than one month will receive light cleanings every other week which will include sweeping and mopping the floors, taking out the trash and wiping down the countertops.
*Upcoming improvements in the lawn will soon include new landscaping and a nice little garden. So landscapers and / or the gardener may stop by during your stay to care for the lawn and garden.
*The home is tucked into a private, rural country neighborhood. There is a new home directly across the street and a quaint little 1945 cottage next door. The little house next door is in the process of being fully renovated as another vacation rental guest home.
*This is a rural neighborhood so parking is easy. Simply pull into the driveway under the covered carport and step right onto the front porch.
*The house provides very easy access to FM 706 which connects with Hwy 103, the Loop in Lufkin or Hwy 94. The house is located outside the city limits of Hudson, TX.
