Positive: Such a great location and house if you want a holiday that’s a bit different but still close to Warrnambool, which has so much to do whilst you’re there too. The river is right on the property edge, so it’s a very nice ambience for brekky on the balcony and bbq for dinner. Also we enjoyed fishing, river swimming and floating (take a dinghy), there’s a swing rope into the river up to the left of the house along the road which the kids loved! It reminded us parents of Tom Sawyer. The house is plenty big enough for two families. We loved it!
Negative: Hooks behind the bathroom doors would be handy to hang clothes and leaving fly spray for guests please. The main toilet also ran quite a bit, wasn’t too bad, but if it was quieter would be better, along with some squeaky doors, but otherwise it was fabulous and we wouldn’t not stay again because of those few small things. It was overall really a top spot!
Summary: Relaxing family stay on the river with some Tom Sawyer fun!
