The Space:
When you enter Dene Annexe you will immediately be greeted by a warm, welcoming and friendly expanse, the perfect home-away-from-home for two. At the heart of the property is the combined living, kitchen and dining space - a huge space that is perfect for easy living. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, kettle, electric hobs, and microwave - in short, you will lack nothing in order to create your cooking coup de grâces.
Seconded off to the side of the living area is the dining space. With a grand wooden varnished set of matching chairs and a table, it's a beautiful space in which you can enjoy your meals morning, noon or evening amdists the natural lighting offered by the wide windows and patio doors. The Living area is cosy space, where you can both cosy up together in front of the flatscreen TV and enjoy the flickering flames of the electric fireplace after your adventures exploring Durham.
The main bedroom is incredibly comfortable and spacious with a luxurious king-size bed for the perfect night’s sleep. With it’s vintage accessories and accoutrements it is the very soul of an easy time away from home. Finally you have a gloriously tiled bathroom, containing a bathtub, basin and a WC.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Dene Annexe is located on the outskirts of the popular city of Durham in the North East. It has the perfect blend of medieval heritage and a modern, vibrant feel. The cobbled streets are peppered with restaurants, bars, pubs and shops. Take a leisurely stroll near the River Wear which continues on past Durham Cathedral and the 900 year old Durham Castle.
Durham Cathedral is an outstanding building originally constructed between 1093 and 1133. The Norman architecture is especially important as it is now the oldest surviving building with a stone vaulted ceiling of such a large scale. You can climb the Tower’s 325 steps for incredible views of the city and countryside. If you’re a fan of Harry Potter, head to the Chapter House where they filmed one of the Hogwarts classrooms.

The centre of Durham is a short 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk from Dene Annexe.
