Positive: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lady in charge did all she could to make us feel at home. You get a wonderful view from the terrace right outside your room or from the terrace on the third floor. You get to use the kitchen which is very handy if you are on a budget. You get to exercise a bit walking to the beach and restaurants. Nights are peaceful and quiet so you have a good night's sleep.

Negative: These are just suggestions to make the visitor's stay more comfortable, add a chair or small bedside table. We were four people sharing the bathroom, we definitely needed some shelves to leave our toothbrushes and toothpaste somewhere.

Summary: All in all, staying at hostal Alcazaba is good value for money for a big family.
