Positive: Fair warning, this is a love hotel; that said, super quiet, very clean room. Very nice, private inside and outside baths. Easy to find--though you'll need either a car or to take a cab [it's a jaunt from the station]. All the staff I interacted with were friendly, though you definitely need to speak Japanese.
Negative: The payment procedure, while pretty standard for a love hotel, is confusing; following the prompts I thought that I'd successfully paid via credit card [which turned out not to be the case, but was resolved the following morning]. There needs to be clearer verbiage on the booking.com site regarding this; as it's stated, you pay on checking in, but the process is not something most tourists would understand [ie contactless in-person kiosk style hotel payment]
Summary: Nice out of the way place to stay if you're up for an adventure.
