This is our own home where we normally live with three kids.

The Town of Lakeville is nestled in the bucolic wonder of the northwest corner of Connecticut. Lakeville and its villages of Salisbury, Taconic, Lime Rock and Amesville are convenient to the Appalachian Trail, mountains for hiking and skiing, lakes for fishing and canoeing, and numerous art and music venues.
The house is on a quiet lane in the center of this popular village. Within easy walking distance to "The Grove". A lake and sandy beach that is fabulous for families. Great sailing, kayaking, tennis and cafe.
The biking and walking in this area are fantastic. With the Appalachian Trail passing through the town, and many quiet hilly well maintained roads for biking. There is a great library close by plus many interesting cultural attractions. There are many good restaurants, an outdoor movie theater in Amenia and the famous Lime Rock car racetrack all close by. There are many local Farmers Markets, garden centers, ice cream stores and such to enjoy. This is a fabulous area to explore.
