Positive: The B&B offered all the essential amenities: shampoo/body wash, air conditioning, and a hair dryer. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the water got pleasantly hot. The owner was very accommodating with check-in and check-out times and was always responsive whenever we messaged or called. It was very easy to find and park at the property. The area itself was incredibly peaceful. Thanks to a gentle ocean breeze, we ended up keeping the window open instead of using the A/C and slept undisturbed ... at least until the church bells began ringing at 7:15.

Negative: There was some confusion regarding several aspects of the B&B. I chose this accommodation based on three features: multiple beds, on-site bike rental, and proximity to downtown Comacchio. Unfortunately, it fell short on all three: 1) I had reserved a "Family Room," which was advertised as having three beds. However, the room only had a double bed. The owner insisted I had booked a "matrimoniale" (double room) and the Family room wasn't available, so my friend and I had to share a bed. 2) The B&B’s Booking.com profile mentions bike rental, but this turned out to be misleading. When we inquired, the owner quickly sent us information for a nearby bike rental business. This was helpful and appreciated, but I had assumed the bikes would be available directly at the property. 3) Despite the name, the B&B is about a 10-minute walk from its namesake landmark. While that distance isn’t far, the historic center of Comacchio is quite compact, making the location feel relatively removed and the name somewhat misleading. 4) On a more subjective note, neither my friend nor I found the mattress particularly comfortable, and the pillow was a bit too bulky for our liking. Overall, while the B&B was more than sufficient and the owner was flexible and responsive, it didn’t quite match the expectations set by the listing.
