Summary: Gorgeous hotel, great swimming pool, beautiful grounds/garden, and turtles by the restaurant! Next to the beautiful park! This wasn’t our first time at this hotel, and we were so looking forward to another treat. Unfortunately, the room smelled strongly of sewage, and the air conditioning barely worked—while being extremely noisy. We complained at reception, and someone was sent to spray the room with air freshener, resulting in a horrible combination of sewage and sweet scents. After further complaints, our room was finally changed the next day. The food in the restaurant was plentiful but didn’t look fresh—ham and bacon had a strange color. I thought that was one off but next two days it looked the same. Croque madame was inedible, eggs with pieces of egg shell, undercooked omelette. I am not fussy eater but sorry my family could not eat it. The staff were not friendly at all, especially around the swimming pool, where they were very rude. No single smile, barely responded with some sound when thanked them in Spanish… Iberostar, please consider that some guests spend a year or longer waiting for their dream holidays and choose your hotel at a significant cost (200 eur per night). Please treat your visitors with care!
