Summary: Excellent location... but not blown away by the property itself. Build quality of renovation not great (cracked tiles in kitchen, sloppy painting, light gaps around doors, etc). Layout of interior is strange... need to walk through only bathroom to get to bedroom. House key only worked for one of the exterior doors, and we had to walk around the house through wet, shin-high grass to get to that door. (Found out the lawn guy was coming to mow after we checked out... consider having this done before your guests arrive and/or have a sidewalk or path to this door.) Communication with owner was OK once it got going, but we had to initiate all conversations, including how to check in and what needed to be done when checking out. Kitchen was small, but fairly well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils... although only 1 coffee cup, so one of us had to drink coffee out of a bowl! Window AC units worked so-so, not great; didn't try TV, so not sure if it worked; only noticed one smoke detector and it was laying on a shelf instead of being mounted to a wall or ceiling, so not sure if it worked. Overall, location is great, but house isn't as nice as expected for the price.
