It has an area of 100 hectares, of which 58 hectares are dedicated to growing rice. It is located next to Laguna Vieja, the largest in the northern area of the Ebro Delta. Reeds, rice paddies and lagoons make this area an ideal habitat for native avian fauna, and favor the winter stay of waterfowl from Central Europe. . This area also presents a rich variety of environments: The mouth of the Ebro river, spectacular beaches, dunes, riverside forest, coastal lagoons, fluvial islands and springs coexist with rice fields, fishing, agriculture, livestock, hunting and The tourism.
