Summary: Of my ten plus stays at VRBO's over the years, this was by far the worst stay I have had. It started when the owner texted the welcome information and asked me to park on the right hand side of the driveway when I showed up. When I arrived, there was a car already parked on the right hand side. I found parking and then proceeded to access the studio but couldn't open the gate (a previous visitor experienced a similar issue) to get in. I rang the door bell but received no answer. I tried the gate again but couldn't open it. I then called the owner but received no answer. I did leave a message stating my issues with the gate. I went to grab some dinner and texted the owner hoping to get a response. Nothing. I continued to wait and after two hours of getting no response and not being able to access the studio I drove to a nearby hotel to secure a room. I finally got a call back from the owner explaining how to open the gate. I returned to the house and was able to get into the studio. I greatly appreciated that he had set up a portable AC unit because it was extremely hot during my stay. The AC unit was vital in keeping the unit cool, but also masking the noise from upstairs. This is a basement studio and you can hear people walking around upstairs at all hours of the day and night. In fact, on both nights of my stay, when I had turned the AC unit off, I was awakened at 2:00 am with noise from upstairs. On the second morning wake up someone dropped something quite loud right above my head. If you are a light sleeper like me, this is NOT the place for you. In addition, the bed is a NOT a queen and cannot sleep two unless you are quite small. The wifi password that was provided was incorrect and there was no (cable) TV service as stated. Bottom line: there was a lot of misinformation in the information stated about this property. It is clean and has all of the amenities and because I wasn't there a whole lot, it was bearable. However, I would never stay here again and wouldn't recommend this to any future travelers.
