On the property is a private antique and artisan museum the estate owner has collected over 45 years. Located near the country village of Avon is great for antiquing, restaurants, groceries, town festivals, and a stroll around the town square. You are minutes from Genesee Country Museum, Genesee Valley Railroad Museum, National Warplane Museum, NYS Transportation Museum, Rochester International Airport, Rochester Institute of Technology, SUNY Geneseo Collage, Caledonia Country Club, Fairview Golf Course, Wild Wood Country Club, Lima Golf and Country Club, Avon Centry Wedding Barn, and Oak Knolles Manor Wedding Barn. The Jerris Wadsworth Wedding Barn is located on the Estate and hosts weddings on Saturdays from May through 2nd week of November. Just a short walk from the estate property, the Genesee Valley Greenway State Park (GVGSP) hosts a paved and highly maintained path on an abandoned railroad bed with 35+ miles of scenic woodlands, river and stream valleys, rolling farmlands, steep gorges, and historic villages located in sixteen towns in Monroe, Livingston, Wyoming, Allegany, and Cattaraugus counties in New York State. Great for biking and walking getaways. Easy access from three driveway entrances leads to a large paved parking lot. The guest is welcome to pull up near the Air BNB to unload and load their personal items.
