THE SPACE
The design mantras throughout this superb vacation home are beauty, tranquility, and options galore! With great natural lighting and plenty of spaciousness to go around, you and your guests can recline on comfortable couches in front of the living room fireplace, mingle in the modern, fully equipped kitchen, or have a snack and chat at the breakfast nook. There’s also a spacious room where you can dine, read, or share a glass of wine. If you fancy hanging out in a cozy screened-in porch with a great view, you’ll have easy access to not one, but two of them! Besides being just 800 yards from Harbert Road Beach, a quiet, beautiful neighborhood beach on the Lake Michigan shoreline, the lovely nearby village of Harbert is worthy of your check-out. It’s got colorful, unique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and a fantastic bakery! Also, due to your proximity to nearby New Buffalo, you can enjoy many water-related activities afforded by the region’s largest recreational harbor – plenty of rentals are available, including boats, kayaks, canoes, jet-skis, and paddleboards. There are also day and evening cruises or fishing excursions to consider. And you’ll also be super-close to all sorts of woodland, lake, and riverside parks with hiking and biking trails galore – including Warren Dunes State Park, which has towering dunes, miles of crystal-sand beaches, and rich wetland trails – or the many popular restaurants, galleries, and boutique shops of downtown New Buffalo (just a hop, skip, and a jump from Harbert).
