This cozy apartment was completely remodeled in August 2020, and is conveniently located near all the amenities and conveniences of town! Within walking distance of Unity Point Health Trinity hospital in Rock Island. Get anywhere in the QC within a 20-25 minute drive.
This apartment is in a duplex and is located on the upper level.
The Space:
This beautifully remodeled apartment has 1 full size bed and a futon to sleep up to 4 guests. The living room also has a closet for additional space for clothes.
Guests also get access to the garage with electric garage door opener to keep their vehicle out of the elements and safe.
Longer term guests will enjoy a kitchen stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, cutting boards, measuring cups, etc for cooking meals at home.
The breakfast bar includes complimentary coffee and creamer, tea and snackbars to help get your day started.
We also offer free Wi-Fi for our guests, as well as a Google Chromecast in the TV for streaming all sorts of content from your phone or laptop.
Note - upon entering the building, the entryway is little short. Taller guests may need to duck down but it's only like this for a few steps.
Guest Access:
Guests have their own garage with electric garage door. The Airbnb guest garage is on the left of the double garage unit.
The laundry room in basement is shared by the Airbnb guest and the other duplex tenant. The machines are coin-opereated.
The Neighborhood:
The area is great for walking/running (i do so all the time!)
There's a great cafe called Cool Beanz not far. Also a great micro-brewry called Radical Effect. Several restaurants in the area, don't hesitate to ask for recommendations for anything specific you may be looking for!
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are usually available, if not a taxi. Most places are a just a bit far for a casual walk, but a short car ride away.
Other Things to Note:
The laundry room with coin-operated machines is in the basement they are $2 for wash, and $1 for dry.
It may get chilly down there in winter, and the floor is very old and not finished, but there are rugs to walk on. Please do not expect it to look nice. The only purpose is to house the washer and dryer and other house utilities. The floor naturally gets a little damp sometimes but it's normal.
Interaction with Guests:
My husband and I live in the area and are available to contact if needed. Otherwise, for maintenance issues we will call our property manager.
