Positive: I really liked the hospitality and service provided by the staff and the owner himself. The location is beautiful, and the view from the restaurant terrace is very pleasant. The pool is excellent and well maintained. I also appreciated that the parking spaces are covered and there are enough of them. The surroundings around the cottages are lovely, well-kept, and regularly watered — which means a lot if you’re traveling with a dog, like we did. The rooms are spacious and functional. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant, and everyone is very friendly and smiling.

Negative: The only drawback for me was the breakfast, which is OK but could be better. I should mention that I’m a professional chef, so my standards might be a bit higher than usual. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, which has a terrace with a beautiful morning view. There are plenty of breakfast options, both sweet and savory. However, after a few days, it gets a bit repetitive — most of the dishes are the same, and there’s sometimes a lack of variety. The taste of the food is fine, but the issue is that some dishes are left on the tables outside of the bain-marie, or they’re placed in bain-marie dishes but have gone cold, which affects hygiene standards. Also, some items like pancakes are left uncovered, so if you come a bit later, they can be dry — though they’re still tasty. I also had an issue with the bed; it seems one of the slats broke, and the mattress sagged, so I couldn’t get proper sleep. Additionally, the bathroom fixtures, especially the shower taps, were worn out and could have been in better condition.

Summary: My overall experience at the accommodation was very pleasant.
