KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The lodge features a beautiful bespoke fully equipped kitchen with a large dining area.

- 1 small ice machine
The dining area has seating for everyone at bespoke handmade wooden tables. There is also a large kitchen island with stools, great for chats while preparing meals. Children's high chair available on request.
LOUNGE/SITTING ROOM
A stylish lounge opens out onto an extensive outdoor area. The lounge has 3 large sofas and a selection of chairs, and the building has bean bags throughout so there is plenty of space for everyone to sit and spend time together. Further seating is available in the adjacent reception area.
OUTDOOR AREA
The lodge has a large outdoor area complete with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and sea - the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down, surrounded by nature.

BEDROOMS
Each of the 10 spacious en-suite bedrooms are individually designed with bespoke features. Rooms 1–4 are on the ground floor, with rooms 5-10 on the first floor. Most bedrooms are very flexible in their configuration; some can be set up as twin or king rooms, others have bespoke fold down beds suitable for families with kids. Rooms 3–9 all feature bespoke wooden bed pods. These pods give great privacy, and some are bunk pods which are always a huge hit with kids and adults alike! FIRST FLOOR READING NOOK
If you need a bit of time out, you can curl up with a good book in one of our funky reading nooks located on the first floor, equipped with hanging chairs and beanbags. For families with young children, there is a selection of kids toys and books located here.
LARGE MULTI-PURPOSE SPACE
The lodge has a large conference room/studio that can be customised to your needs. It's perfect as a space for a family movie night (the lodge does not have a TV, but we have Wifi and a projector that can be connected to your computer for movies), a conference room, yoga studio or workshop space. This room opens out onto an outdoor work space.

The Killary Lodge is available on a self-catering basis or can be fully staffed with catering provided. Just contact us to discuss your requirements. You will be welcomed and provided with keys on arrival and will have access to the whole building for the duration of your stay. There will always be someone on hand to answer any questions, so please don’t hesitate to ask.
Utility charges (heat, water, electricity) are included in the nightly rate. All linens and towels are provided.

KILLARY FJORD SAUNA & WILD SWIMMING EXPERIENCE**NEW
Our brand new, architecturally designed Scandinavian sauna is now available to book as an add-on for groups staying at The Killary Lodge. Available in 2-hour time slots, or for longer if your group is large and you want enough time for everyone to relax and enjoy the experience.
ACCESS TO THE FJORD
Guests of the lodge have access to the shoreline located just 300m from the building. Depending on the time of year you may want a swim!
ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE ONSITE
If you are looking for adventure you are in the right place. The Killary Lodge is located on the estate of Killary Adventure Company who offer over 20+ adventure activities, from kayaking on the Killary Fjord to climbing and abseiling activities, and a water taxi which can drop off or pick up from local walking trails. All activities are available to book seven days a week.
WALKING TRAILS/BEACHES
The Killary Lodge is situated in a nature lover's paradise. A 2km coastal walking path with fabulous views of the fjord is located just 500m from the front door of the lodge.
There are numerous walks and hikes nearby, in the mountains, through forests, trails and beaches, as well as endless cycling routes and lots of swimming options at nearby sandy beaches. Connemara National Park is just 15km away.
CATERING AVAILABLE
Also located onsite is the award-winning Misunderstood Heron food truck (rated by Lonely Planet as one of the best in the world) serving great coffee, homemade cakes and a seasonal menu of delicious food! The food truck is open April - October. They also offer catering to groups staying at The Killary Lodge.
