Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The guesthouse is in a wealthy gated community, just a minute’s walk from the beach. The house seems recently renovated, spotless, and very well maintained. Towels and bedding were almost new and high quality, showing the care the team puts into the place.

Negative: I stayed in the single twin room for one night. The space was much smaller than I expected (O asked to see the room before finalizing the booking and was not allowed), and without air conditioning it became hot and stuffy (especially in late August). With the windows closed it was uncomfortable, and with them open there was outside noise and little privacy. At US$200 per night, the room felt overpriced for the size and lack of climate control, even though the property itself is well kept.

Summary: Clean and well-maintained guesthouse near the beach, though the single room lacked comfort.
