Positive: The resort facilities were very good, well kept and perfect for a relaxing vibe. The breakfast buffet had great variety and quality, and the dinner menu was varied, delicious, and beautifully presented. Time by the pool was a delight, and the activities on offer were both interesting and well organised. Overall, it was very good value for the price. The island itself felt authentic and non-touristy, which we really enjoyed.
Negative: Staff were helpful in organising transport, but we ended up paying more than the price advertised at reception (1,500 THB vs 1,350 THB per person per transfer). With the extra buffer time they built in for traffic, we also had to wait 45 minutes between car and speedboat. Renovations were ongoing throughout our stay, and while staff provided a lunch voucher as compensation, we later found out other guests had been offered multiple vouchers valid for either lunch or dinner. After raising this, we were able to use ours for dinner. Service at dinner was mixed – some staff were a bit short, while others were lovely.
