You dream of a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees, look no further, come and stay at the Bigourdane de Saligos located in the centre of the Gavarnie valley and its 6 ski areas with one of the largest and most beautiful areas of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and the Pyrenees natural park. In the peace and quiet and set back from the road, this 17th century Bigourdane house, made up of buildings overlooking the village and restored with traditional materials, will welcome you in charming rooms with great comfort.
This charming house of 130 m², with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, can accommodate up to 9 people and you can enjoy an exterior of about 550 m². Wifi, sheets and towels included, we are waiting for you!
The accommodation is composed as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A living room with flat screen TV (Google Chromecast streaming system) and sofas. A Hifi system with Bluetooth wireless connection is available.
- A separate kitchen with a large dining area. The kitchen is equipped with: electric kettle, toaster, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine...
- A separate toilet
On the 1st floor:
- Bedroom 1: a queen-size bed (160x200) and a single bed (+ 1 folding bed)
- Bedroom 2: 2 bunk beds (90x200) (sleeps 4)
- A shower room with shower and WC
On the 2nd floor:
- Bedroom 3: one queen-size bed
- A bathroom with shower, bath and WC
Outside :
- An enclosed garden of about 550 m² (part of the garden is sloping) equipped with garden furniture to enjoy the nice days
- A 30 m² wooden terrace facing south-west with a view of the hills

The accommodation is ideally located, at an altitude of 700m, in the village of Saligos. This small authentic mountain village of 80 inhabitants with its Romanesque church has maintained its pastoral tradition.
Whether in winter after a day of skiing or snowshoeing or in summer after a hike, a bike ride or a white water adventure, you will be able to find peace and quiet here.
The village of Luz Saint Sauveur is only 5 minutes away and you will find shops, entertainment, gastronomy & crafts, history & heritage and spa facilities that make it the heart of the Pyrenean village. The evenings are festive and mix mountain atmosphere and conviviality!

- Stations of Barège - La Mongie and Pic du Midi de Bigorre on the largest ski area in the Pyrenees called the "Grand Tourmalet" (15 minutes), Luz Ardiden (15 minutes), Gavarnie (30 minutes), Cauterets (30 minutes) and Hautacam (40 minutes)
- Multiple walks in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park and also the GR10.
- The Gavarnie Valley : ideally situated for all your summer leisure activities (hiking and its lakes, rafting, canyoning, kayaking, paragliding, adventure and sensation, trail and rando raid, mountain biking,...), and winter (downhill skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding...).
- Climbers and cycling enthusiasts will be delighted to be able to test themselves against the mythical passes of the Tour de France, such as the Tourmalet.
- The thermal baths of Luz Saint Sauveur and other nearby sites welcome you for treatments or simply a moment of well-being.
- The "Pic du Midi de Bigorre" culminating at an altitude of 2,877 m, labelled the most beautiful and largest international reserve of starry skies (RICE) which offers to experience an immersion in the milky way thanks to the starry nights with its astronomical observatory, its panoramic terraces, its museum of astronomy, its pontoon in the sky and its traditional restaurant.

- A secure outdoor room is available for ski equipment or to store bikes.
- From 1 November to 1 March, winter equipment is compulsory.

- From 1st November to 1st March, winter equipment is compulsory for all motor vehicles on the road.
- No smoking inside the house.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request, at an additional cost (rental and payment to be made with our partner on site). Sheets + pillowcase: 35 euros for the first bed and 25 euros for the following ones. 1 large towel + 1 small towel and 1 tea towel: 8 euros per person.
- The end of stay cleaning includes the preparation of the accommodation for future visitors. Thank you for leaving the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition and for cleaning the household appliances after use.
