Casa dell'Acqua is a charming historic home with swimming pool, built in 1931 by Baron Fatta del Bosco, a wealthy landowner, who had the idea to create a very ingenious hydraulic system in those days; the idea was to irrigate the land with water from the nearby river Imera. So it was that he built inside a well that collected the dall'alveo water near Imera river to irrigate the fields. Today this system has been restored and enhanced by the current owner, the grandson of the Baron, who restored it and made available to guests. The old building is surrounded by an area of about 60 hectares mainly cultivated with vegetables, corn and olives. The house is surrounded by dense Mediterranean vegetation that surround a pool of mt. 50x10. On the ground floor of the house there is an open space, elegant and bright with a seating area with sofa bed, dining table and open kitchen. From this room there is access to the most scenic part of the house: the ancient well. This environment has been transformed into a cozy loft with a living area and two single beds and a half. On the other side of the living room leads to two double bedrooms with attached bath, and third bathroom with shower. From the entrance, through a small staircase, which leads to the tower where a small room with a single bed has been obtained. From here going up a few steps you reach the large terrace from where you can admire the magnificent scenery. Outside, beyond the deck area near the pool, there is a small house where there is the washing machine, a second refrigerator and outside barbecue. In the garden there are several fresh and shady corners where you can spend relaxing moments in the company of guests.
