La Chamille is a stylish and comfortable three bedroom stone cottage located on the outside of the main courtyard at La Cannonerie. Big open plan ground floor with modern kitchen and windows overlooking beautiful countryside. Seating area with plenty of soft furniture and feature fireplace with wood burning stove. Tumbled travertine floor with stone walls makes this a stylish family retreat. Upstairs there are two Kingsize bedrooms and a twin room all with a bright and modern feel and great views over the vines. Bedlinen is provided. There is also a modern family bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC, handbasin and heated towel rail. English television channels.
La Cannonerie was built in 1826 and incorporates parts of a medieval hunting lodge believed to have been built by Francois 1st. All of our cottages are stylish and comfortable and the perfect location to relax and enjoy a fabulous french holiday.

About an hour from the beautiful beaches of the coast, Meschers, St Palais and the famous islands of Re and Olereon meaning that La Cannonerie is the perfect location for day trips to either the beach or one of the many other places of interest including Bordeaux, St Emilion, Cognac, Angouleme, La Rochelle and Saintes. The English owners have an eye of design and have created modern interiors without detracting from the traditional stone exteriors. A perfect holiday destination for you to relax and unwind.
