Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Mario the proprietor is very friendly, accommodating and accessible. The location is handy for travel between Monaco and Nice. The view from the property is stunning. Breakfast items and a Moka coffee maker are a nice touch. A free parking lot across the street is also useful, though I'd imagine during peak season it might be hard to secure a space, though we had no trouble during our stay.
Negative: The room is really musty with the odor of mildew and could use some serious freshening. We didn't open the windows because there are lots of mosquitoes. Also, the fridge makes a racket every time it runs which impairs continuous sleep. There isn't much counter space available and more hangers in the armoire would be helpful - we largely had to keep our things in our suitcases or else use the furniture as "chairdrobes." This could be solved with some inexpensive small Ikea tables or shelves.
Summary: Nice garden with seaview, friendly proprietor, room could use some updating
