Lacey's Holiday House is situated in Kingscote, only one street away from the attractive foreshore of Nepean Bay. A short stroll will lead you to a scenic native bush-covered coast where you can enjoy intriguing nature walks, family friendly beaches and the tidal swimming pool. Good fishing abounds along Nepean Bay from jetty, boat, beaches and rocky headlands and nearby Brownlow Beach which has vehicle access.
This charming and comfortable 3 bedroom house, with it's pleasant garden, is located on a large block with a securely fenced backyard, suitable for children and pets.
Lacey's sleeps 7 guests, has a large family and games room including a full size pool/ snooker table. Our family outdoor dining setting and BBQ (gas supplied) are available under an all-weather sheltered pergola, or, with a sun umbrella in our quiet, private backyard garden.
Lacey's has all the amenities needed for a comfortable long or short stay including modern lounge, good seating with recliners, family dining room, extensive book and DVD library including kids books plus internet access. Summary: Wonderful sprawling property in the heart of Kingscote this much loved home is one your entire family can enjoy. You will feel like you stepped back in time in this well preserved very much loved home. Tastefully decorated throughout the 60's to the 80's. With grab rails in the bathroom and toilet and a wide opening shower you won't need to leave Grandma behind. But a few minutes walk to the main street, 10 minutes to the supermarket and 5 minutes to the tidal pool You are perfectly placed to enjoy day trips to all the Island has to offer. This property COULD BE? suitable for a wheelchair. There is semi level access from driveway into games room and onto a ramp into the laundry. (small lip step and sliding door frame tracks to negotiate) Talk to the owner about this. You will love: Birds dashing through the bushes, soft carpet under foot. Games, videos, Wi-Fi, cable tv, books, pool table, covered patio with bbq, antique furniture and big comfy recliner lounge. Well stocked kitchen and pantry and fenced yard for your pooch. You won't like: Single sink, no dishwasher (I feel the single sink completes the retro charm of this property.
