One of the most magnificent lakefront properties in Big Bear Lake, this spectacular log cabin with over 100 feet of prime deep-water shoreline. This custom cabin is ready to be your mountain dream home for a truly unforgettable vacation! The large backyard has a deep water dock for all your boats and personal watercraft and is wind protected so you can enjoy evenings outdoors on the deck. Unobstructed views down the length of the lake and is one of the best locations for a front seat view to the SoCal's best July 4th fireworks show. The back yard includes a very large 12 person hot tub, a large sandy area, outdoor natural gas BBQ and food prep area, and gas fire pit, and plenty of seating and lounge chairs. An expansive deck has lounge chairs for 12, a gas fire pit in the deck to keep you warm on cool nights, and lots of room to sit, gaze, breath, and relax.
The main floor has a two-story family room with large picture windows that take full advantage of the lake views. Adjacent is the dining room with a large natural wood table that seats 12-14 and a large fireplace build from local stone and slate. The family room and dining area have easy access to outside decks, chef's kitchen with Viking appliances. Around the stone fireplace is a media room with an HDTV Smart TV, fun games, and a great place to watch a sporting event. The first floor also has a separate cottage bedroom with queen size bed and a large ensuite with a urinal and expansive shower. Most sleeping quarters are up a flight of half-log stairs. The Primary Bedroom is spacious with vaulted ceilings and access to a second-floor deck. The triple-sized master bath has a large shower with two shower heads and a jacuzzi, infinity-edge bathtub that fills from a spigot in the ceiling! Very dramatic. Four additional bedrooms on this floor, one with two queen beds, two with queen-sized beds, a boy's bunk room decorated with rust and royal green, a girls' bunk room lovely, light, and strong. All bathrooms have been updated with a high standard of finishing touches. A small office nook can be used for private work zoom calls or important deadlines that just must be met during vacation.
Only about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles, Big Bear Lake is a beautiful and convenient break from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature lover’s paradise provides endless year-round activities. In the winter, Big Bear Lake offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing. In the summer, visitors love to play water sports, horseback rides, golf, hike, and mountain bike. Head to Big Bear when you need a healthy dose of fresh air, exercise, and rejuvenation.

Home Truths:
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Use of outdoor spas and other outdoor activities are prohibited from 10 pm - 7 am.
​​​​​​​- No amplified sound is permitted outside at any time. Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line.
- Winter weather warning- From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle.
- Lake levels may vary. As of September 2021, the depth of water is 2ft at the dock. If you are bringing a boat please be sure to research if this is sufficient. Please check all lake rules at the Big Bear Municipal Water District website.
- This home can accommodate 16 people but a maximum of 14 adults.
- Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the local dumpsite in accordance with the City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on the property.
- AvantStay plows and clears the driveway and one pathway to the front door. We provide shovels for guests to use should they wish to clear paths on any other part of the property.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 30 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.
Live check-ins are required for all our Big Bear homes and you will be asked to sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy prior to your stay. Upon arrival to Big Bear our staff will meet you at our local AvantStay office and provide your check-in details. We do not accept check-ins after 7pm. Please note that the reservation holders will need to be available for the live-check-in.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.
