Positive: It was a really nice, updated space-lots of room for 2 families to live in together and for the kids to run around both inside, on the balcony, and the property. Nice little play structure for them to play on as well. The overall space was very clean and had the basics for cooking as far as utensils/dishes/pans. There was handsoap, toilet paper, and little shampoos, which was helpful. The bedrooms are spacious and lots of storage. Great locale and easy to walk to Manson for food, wineries, bars, the beach. Parks and Chelan are easy drives as well. We went in the off season so it was super quiet and we had the property and the town of Manson to ourselves. not sure what it's like when it's peak season for noise levels, etc. Being able to walk to everything was nice especially when sampling alcohol, the kids got walks in everyday to release some energy, and we treated ourselves to coffee at the local coffee stand (hint: besides the drive up they also have a sitdown cafe with a different menu and seating).
Negative: Our only complaint was the pool situation: it was not listed on the booking site that the pool was seasonal or closed or only available certain dates. Other venues we looked at said they had an indoor heated pool or closed outdoor pool. They had a midsize hot tub open that we played in. There was only one, tiny sign saying the pool was closed and many residents didn't see it and went swimming-but not sure if it was safe to swim and it was super chilly-they got a surprise when they jumped in! More signage saying it's closed, info on the site saying it's seasonal, and/or heating it is our only major feedback. Minor suggestions: more hooks in the bathroom, another larger pan or 2 for cooking, and a bit more silverware since it's a large unit :) we would love to stay here again at different times of the year to see what it's like and take advantage of what the area has to offer!
