Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape on 220 feet of private beach on Lake Huron. 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home is right on Lake Huron with views of the straits & Mackinac Island. On site are snowmobile & bike trails. Just a 10 minute drive to the ferry docks to Mackinac Island! Stay where the action is yet still have the privacy for downtime. Plenty of parking. Enjoy a swim during the day and a bon fire in the evening.
Growing up in Northern MI we are very willing to help you plan your trip. In order for you to have a great experience please contact us with your questions. Be close to all the Northern Michigan tourist attractions, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, and still be able to get away from the crowds and sit by Lake Huron, roast marshmallows and take in the Northern Lights show nearly every clear sky night. Our neighbors are awesome, and we ask our guests to respect the quiet hours and stay within our property limits. Our property hosts over 2 acres with the house and 2 campers. There may be other guests sharing the 2 acres, or you may have the entire lot to yourself. Due to the woods, it feels like the space is all yours. The property has enough space to have your own fire pit and beach area. The campers to the east have their own space as well.
Guests of the property have access to an outdoor pavilion that includes a bar, high top table with 4 chairs, propane fireplace, mini fridge, and lounge chairs. This space is share with the other guests and has first come first serve. The space can be reserved for exclusion to other guests for a daily fee of $100 and must be done ahead of check in.
The house has 70 feet of designated lakeshore with individual fire ring, but the entire shore is open to share among all guests.
Recently remodeled! Open layout for kitchen and living room. Large table for meals and playing cards. Eat in kitchen. 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom, and the third bedroom has 4 twin beds set in 2 bunk beds. Screened in porch to watch the deer, birds, and waves roll in. 4 person hot tub, grill, and pavilion.
Parking is free on site with room for several vehicles and trailers. Nearest airport is Pellston Regional Airport, 21 miles away. Car rental is available at the airport. Mackinaw Shuttle is also accessible. Driving is most popular mode of transportation. Roots on the Run, owned and operated by Mike Root, is an errand business and works like an Uber as well.
