Enjoy this cozy lakefront cabin in the Arapaho National Forrest mountains. This peaceful lovely cabin is completely renovated with plenty of space to relax with that special someone or the whole family.
The cabin is situated on a serene mountain lake that is stocked annually and currently has a catch-and -release restriction. Due to it being a private community lake, state fishing licenses are not required.
The cabin itself is warm and cozy featuring 3 floors of living space.
The top floor is loft style featuring a king size "Sleep Number" mattress and full bath.
The main level has the large open kitchen, living area with propane fireplace, full bath, laundry and a large outside deck with BBQ grill and dining table with beautiful views of the mountains and lake.
The lower level has a queen/twin bunk (sleeps 3) and a living area with pull out double sleeper sofa and a 3/4 bath.
Your host resides 1 mile away and is available 24 hours to assist with any issues that may arise.
Please note that this property is located in St Mary's Glacier Colorado at an elevation of 10,000 feet. Altitude sickness can be experienced by some guests so you are encouraged to research preventative measures and check with your doctor if you have existing medical conditions that may be negatively affected by high altitudes.
Winter driving conditions exist from October through April therefore AWD or 4WD vehicles with DEDICATED SNOW TIRES is highly recommended. Most of the national car rentals do not offer snow tires so you may want to look into renting a vehicle through Turo where you can communicate with the vehicle owner to ensurer that true snow tires are on the vehicle.
