Welcome to our Muskoka cottage on the beautiful shores of Lake Rosseau. Our cottage is located on the peaceful Royal Muskoka Island, fully accessible by car on a dead end road. We invite visitors from Canada, the U.S. and overseas to enjoy the beautiful scenery, crystal clear water, and refreshing Muskoka air.
Our ranch style cottage is situated on a large sheltered bay with south facing exposure. The flat level lot has the cottage placed close to the water’s edge. The shallow sandy shoreline makes entry into the water easy and suitable for anyone, including toddlers, young children and seniors.
The large ‘L’ shaped dock is a great place to relax on classic Muskoka chairs, and provides ample room to dock boats. Lake Rosseau offers great opportunities for fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass, and pickerel.
There are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family including canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, volleyball and badminton. The fire pit near the water’s edge is ideal for roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, and stargazing on clear nights.
The “Common Grounds” are located at the previous site of the historic and grande Royal Muskoka Hotel are just a short walk up the road and have a playground, basketball court, baseball diamond, gazebo, picnic tables and hiking trails. Great restaurants, specialty shops and fabulous golf courses are just a short drive away.
The deck has a propane BBQ grill, patio table and umbrella, and seating for six for dining al fresco.
Indoors you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen open to the dining area with a large harvest table, perfect for for family dinners.
The large Muskoka room overlooking the lake provides lots of seating to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Cottage is for renters only. Do not exceed rental agreement. No groups or parties allowed on property or in cottage which is subject to removal from cottage and cancellation of rental agreement. All damages during rental period are the responsibility of the renters and payable to the owners after repair or replacement costs are determined. Owners are not responsible for the safety or health of renters during rental period. All pets must be leashed while outside cottage and dog waste removed.
