5 Bedroom House in Nine Mile Falls
First of all, to be clear, this is NOT a PARTY HOUSE for young adults. ‘Parties’ will result in immediate forfeiture of your stay with NO REFUNDS. Also, maximum of 8 or additional pay per person. If there are more than 8 without paying or prior approval, you will forfeit your stay. Also, please don't ask for exceptions for bringing animals as I am being respectful of people's allergies. We do live nearby so please be honest with your reservation as we don’t want to have an uncomfortable conversation. Thank you!
With a happier tone: The setting of our 3 story home situated on 6.5 acres is a dream come true. You will find yourself with over 200 feet of river frontage and a beautiful view of the lake/river and a hillside/mountain. The house is located on Long Lake, just 15 minutes from Spokane.
Your stay can be extremely active or as relaxing as you would like. Your stay can be as active as your heart desires with the beginning of the centennial trail starting very close to the home which will go over 50 miles into Idaho. There are over 40 books and board games available for your family along with some yard games. Please keep the games organized when done.
In the summer, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, boating and all water sports are accessible at the dock. The home is located 15 minutes from Spokane, 30 minutes from the international airport, 1 hour from 49 degrees north and Mt Spokane. Coeur de Alene, ID is only 55 minutes away. The home is located at the end of a very scenic kayak trip starting at Saint George’s or painted Hills.
The home has a deck on the main level and a balcony off the master bedroom which also has a large walk in closet, double showers, and a bathtub. The kitchen is spacious with granite countertops and a large pantry. A grill is available on the deck. The downstairs is very spacious for extra privacy. The house also has a hot tub which is a perfect way to end a day or start a day. There is a fire pit with a propane tank that needs to be started with a lighter. Propane is the responsibility of the renter. Propane can be filled up at the gas station 1 mile away.
There is a pool which will be heated to 80 in JULY AND AUGUST ONLY. (It usually becomes warmer with the heat of the summer). but depending on the weather, the temperature of the pool will vary. Otherwise, the pool is ‘open’ from approximately June-September at the owners discretion AND IT IS SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. NO FINS OR SHARP OBJECTS IN THE POOL as it will rip the liner. It has an automatic cover which will have a video for viewing on how to open it before your stay. This must be viewed before using and liability form signed also. Please close the cover at night to maintain the heat and prevent animals from going in. You may bring your own floaties and towels if you’d like. Please don’t ask to heat the pool before July. Thank you.
There will be white bath towels to be used for the pool and hot tub. The kitchen seats 7 comfortably with 3 bar stools next to it. The outside has a table under a gazebo with 8 chairs. The fireplace has 4 comfy chairs.
With all the water around the property, the renter is responsible for making sure their kids are watched at all times and also making sure of a safe environment to prevent accidents.
I prefer to keep the number to 8 or close to it and if there are extra pre-approved guest, it is an extra $100/night (including children). you will need to provide the extra sleeping bedding. We are on a septic system and have had problems with people putting wet wipes in the septic system, regardless of the signs in each bathroom so it would be appreciated to follow house rules.
There will be suggestions for activities when you arrive or easy communication with the owner.

Please keep the home close to as when you arrived as it is a large home and it takes several hours to clean and we we run out of something, please let us know ;) During the summer, there will be maintenance of the yard which may be of slight inconvenience but has to be done periodically.
