This listing includes a description for your choice of TWO SEPARATE CABINS available. Please read the description and occupancy differences below for either the EAST Cabin or the WEST cabin. When sending your inquiry for the lakeside cabins, please indicate either the WEST or EAST cabin preference. Each cabin is a small studio style lake side log cabin located at Timberline Lodge resort Daniel, Wyoming Approximately 70 miles SE of Jackson Hole and Yellowstone park. Pinedale Wyoming is 35 miles to the East. These studio lake cabins with bathrooms are located overlooking our stocked fish reservoir. The West cabin has a Queen bed with kitchenette and bathroom and is ideal for couples. The adjacent EAST cabin has 2 sets of full size bunk beds and bathroom. There is no kitchenette in the east cabin, but does have a bbq. The cabin rate is PER CABIN per night. Cabins are located at 8,000' adjacent to the 3.4 million acre Bridger Teton National Forest. Relax on the picture perfect porch overlooking a beautiful lake, mountain meadow and willow bottoms where you can view wildlife daily. The Wind River mountain range is panoramic. The 4 acre lake is stocked for seasonal fishing and many recreational options available onsite including horseback riding, swimming, fishing, hiking, skiing, swimming, snowmobiling and hunting. Its winter in Wyoming November thru March. Some of the described activities are seasonal. Guests may also simply relax in the high mountain getaway. The lakeside cabins may not be suitable for guests with small children due to the direct water access.

Summary: If you're looking for wide open spaces to get away from it all, this is it! This cabin is a bit further out than we're used to going, and that's a GOOD thing! Everything was awesome. We had one small problem, but the team at the property helped us sort it out. In and around the cabin, we had no cell and no internet service. It could have been our service provider (Verizon). We only needed it for music and only because the portable hard drive I loaded music and movies onto, died on us. Thankfully the ranch wrangler and property manager helped us, let us use the Lodge's WiFi and I was able to download music and stations to listen to. They saved our vacation! My recommendation is to make sure you have your music, movies, playlists, games, etc. downloaded to your devices AND TESTED before leaving home base in case you don't get service. Getting there was straight forward but we did contact the property manager (probably too many times) to make sure we were on the right path. When we arrived, we were greeted by LeLese and Maddie who took us to the cabin. It was exactly what we booked and worked great for us. It was off the beaten path but that's exactly what we were after. We were taken care of by smiling friendly people, had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoyed our time there. The staff made us feel welcome, almost like family. We were very thankful and felt welcome the whole time. The bed was comfy, the kitchen well stocked with, pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc.. We had clear skies the whole time we were there and the stars at night were AMAZING!! The lake out back is stocked with beautiful fish - Rainbow, Cutthroat and Brook trout. They were beautiful fish and good fighters. All-in-all we had a great time. Where you turn to go to the cabin on WY 354, there's a convenience store/restaurant/gas station called Daniels Den. They have a lot of great snacks, food items and good people. It's not a full-on grocerys store though, but still a good place to stop to grab snacks, beverages and some of their delicious fresh food items.
